ELF $3/$1 Eyeshadow Brush: A Comparison

Above is a picture of the two ELF eyeshadow brushes. The one on the left is the "c" eyeshadow brush from the studio line ($3) and on the right is the regular eyeshadow brush ($1). You can tell the left one is wider, so it would cover more lid space. The right one is tapered obviously and has thicker and longer bristles. However, this $1 one is from my latest order, the ones that I have from years back are not as tapered, more like the c brush, I like both, but I think I prefer the c brush on the left.

Which one do you like better?

Elf Cosmetics: Studio Warm Bronzer, Studio Eyeshadow, Studio Eyeshadow Brush, Eyelid Primer, Eyebrow Kit, Another ELF order!

This order came in 10 days... pretty fast. My studio line stash is growing larger and larger. Here are the goodies that I got this time around.

The warm bronzer - it didn't have that elf film cover on the inside, kinda strange, but product seems okay.

The eyebrow kit - This is not very light, and it's the lightest one that they had, I would recommend this one for sure (and not any darker) if you have medium brown hair like me.

Studio eyeshadow in amethyst - This is small and really cute!

Studio "C' brush - I like this one a lot, I will get more of these for sure.

Eyeshadow brush - This one is from the regular $1 line, I think I have like 4-5 of these now, they are my favourite eyeshadow brush ever, but I think I might like the studio line better, the head is bigger on that one.

All over cover stick in "apricot beige" - This is quite orange, it may work for undereye circles, and concealer, not sure yet.

Eyelid primer - I ordered this one from the $1 line, and then read that it's the mineral eyelid primer that's the good one. Oh well it's just a dollar.

Makeup Masala: Brushes from ELF Cosmetics and Ecotools

My package from makeup masala came today. But.. I got the wrong product, I had ordered the ecotools retractable brush, but got the bronzer brush instead. Weird. I am going to have to contact customer service. I also got 3x ELF powder brush. This brush is very, very popular on youtube, and I thought it would be a great all-purpose brush. I hope it lives up to it's high expectations.

Cherryculture: NYX Smokey Look Kit, Concealer in a Jar, Round Lipsticks, and Mega Shine lipglosses package came today!

I ordered from cherryculture about a week ago and got my order too, shipping was very fast considering I am in canada. cherryculture sells nyx stuff for pretty cheap, that's what made me interested in them. I will totally be ordering from them again.

I got the NYX Smokey Look Kit, that's the palette you see in the pic. The box of it is on the left, the section underneath pulls out and it has a mirror inside. It's about the size of your palm, looked a lot bigger online, but it's totally cute.

NYX Concealer in a jar is the tiny pot, this is in the colour porcelene, I think it was the lightest that they had.

NYX Mega shine lipgloss in beige and smokey look, smokey look looks orange in the tube, not a fan at first glance. These are really cute, they have a box on the top of the black lid.

NYX Round lipsticks in Harmonica and Strawberry milk, hamonica is a big more pale with frostiness to it, I think strawberry milk is more wearable.

MAC Eversun Beauty Powder Blush

Eversun was released during the Style Warriors collection, which was back this past summer I believe. I hated the packaging from that collection, as most people did. So I didn't buy anything at the time. Recently however I ordered eversun because I had been eyeing it up for a while and thought it was going to be removed off the mac cosmetics website soon and I would never get it and regret it. In Canada, we don't have CCO's so it is difficult to get past MAC collections. There are warehouse sales, but I have never been to one before, so I rely on what is at MAC counters and online.

This blush is gorgeous, it's like a peachy/bronze colour. It looks a bit alarming at first in the pan, but looks very natural and pretty on the cheek. I place this on the sides of my cheeks, right on the apples and out towards the ears. I am not much of a blush girl, I only have one other MAC blush and that is peachykeen. I naturally have pretty flushes cheeks so I tend to radiate towards peachy, coral, brown shades when I choose a blush. This would be perfect for summer to add a bit of a glow, but I like it year round. It is very pigmented, so you only need a bit. I use my 188 dupe from costco to apply it.
