Review October Luxebox By Loose Button And Giveaway

Earlier this week I received the October Edition of Luxebox. It came totally re-designed! As you know Luxebox normally comes in a brown cardboard shoebox type box with a ribbon around it, this month's came in a sleek black box. Also the packaging that it came delivered in was an improvement too, normally it comes in those cheap Canada Post plastic bubble type envelopes, this month it came in a sturdy cardboard box. I love the new packaging, it goes well with their website design, more of a sleek, mature approach. If you're not familiar with Luxebox, they are a monthly beauty subscription that sends you 4-5 deluxe beauty samples each month (only for Canadians at the moment).

My box came personalized with a card with my name and blog name and a card that explains what products are contained inside, how to use them and how much they cost in full-size form. The interior has black tissue paper to hold the contents and black crinkled paper around the products. The box also slides from side to side to open.

The products inside this month's Luxebox included:
1. Lise Watier Flash Lift Radiance Vials (product launch)
2. Keratase Elixir Ultime - Last month's Luxebox came with Moroccan Oil, I am seeing a trend with these products, Luxebox likes hair serums! I tried this on my hair and it's a lot thinner than Moroccan Oil, smells good too.
3. Olay Professional Pro X Eye Restoration Complex
4. Lise Watier Plumpissimo Le Gloss
5. China Glaze Crackle (Full Size) in Oxidized Aqua
6. Dealuxe $25 off when you spend $75

I was pleased with this month's Luxebox, especially liking the nail polish. I have yet to try any crackle polishes and like the colour of this one, nice for the fall season. I love how they add new products in before they are available for purchase, that goes for the Lise Watier Flash Lift Radiance. And the Olay Prox Eye Restoration Complex intrigues me too. I would love to see them continue to put more makeup items in their boxes.

Now time for the giveaway! Loose Button has partnered with me again to give away the November Edition of Luxebox. To enter, you must be a subscriber of this blog and must be in Canada (Luxebox only ships to Canada currently). 1. All I can say is beautiful and rich looking. The packaging looks very elegant and rich. And the collection of items are great as well. I live in a smaller town and have had a hard time finding the cool new crackle nail polishes that are so popular now. HOPE I WIN!!!:)

  4. I'm still on the fence about these sample type boxes..this one seems to be one of the best so far but far too many of them put random perfume samples etc that I personally am not too interested in. This one looks good though, I would be interested particularily in the Lise Watier Gloss as well as the China Glaze ( I already have that shade but others perhaps)

  9. I absolutely LOVE the new desgin! Its so very sleek and sophisticated!

Lise Watier is my absolute favorite, and love all the products they come out with.

The hair serium seems interesting, I've used Morrocan Oil myself, and I'm not impressed with it. I'm anxious to try this new product out.

As for the nail polish, it is perfect for fall. I've used the crackle nail polishes and they are super fun!

Can't wait to see who wins :)

  18. I like the redesign, but I must admit that these items pale in comparison to the products that the UK folks get in the Glossy Boxes.

  21. It is a very classy & luxe looking redesign. I still haven't felt the big push to sign up for this as most people's reaction's seem to hit & miss month to month. Although this month's looks interesting with full size or pre-lauched items. Thanks for the chance to win one! Love reading your blog!

  22. I must admit that I haven't felt the undeniable urge to pull the trigger and subscribe to this yet. Most people that do receive it seem to be hit & miss about the products they receive month to month. Although, this month's loot looks interesting - full size & pre-launch items- nice! Thanx for the chance to try! Love reading your blog!

  23. The redesign is alot sleeker and the products seem interesting. I have damaged hair and I'm always looking into hair serums or anything that might help my hair. But crackle polishes are everywhere so that isn't new.

  24. i prefer this new design and the products more interesting than before , love this new box.

  25. I like the box design and the personalized detail, but it's really subjective to evaluate a box, depending on your taste. Nail polish is one example :)

  27. I got my first box earlier this week. I was pleased with the variety of products. I can't wait to try them. I like the packaging, but to me that's all it is. Eventually it gets recycled and moves on.

  37. My October Luxebox was not the same as this. No nail polish for me and no lipgloss. What gives? They must hsve run out of some items. Not fair!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Love the box, especially the nail polish and the lip gloss.

  39. Like the Lise Watier Plumpissimo Le Gloss and the China Glaze Crackle in Oxidized Aqua. Never purchase Luxebox so I'm not sure about the redesign.

  43. Following as Victoria on GFC.

    My box was slightly different!
I got an Essie nail polish instead of the China Glaze Crackle and a Chloe perfume sample instead of the lip gloss. But I'm not really up for the new re-design :( the original boxes were like very useful for storing stuff since it had a lid!
