Canadian Sephoras Now Carry YSL, Bobbi Brown, St Tropez, Nails Inc

I was at my local Sephora a few weekends ago and noticed a bunch of new brands have been added! Canadian Sephora stores now have YSL, Bobbi Brown, St Tropez, and Nails Inc (and probably others that I have forgotten) that were never available before. This is exciting to Canadians for sure because it's now really convenient to get these brands. I was most excited about Bobbi Brown coming in because the only place that I knew of that carried it was Holt Renfrew and I feel a bit out of place in that store (too posh for me).

I noticed the YSL section was definitely not complete by any means, there were only a few foundations and none of the Teint Radiance that I purchased online recently. I love that blush in the bottom corner, Coriander really pretty! I picked up a new YSL Faux Cils as well, one of my favourite mascaras ever. I think YSL will definitely be a bit hit.

Bobbi Brown's section is pretty huge. Both pictures were taken at the Toronto Eaton Centre location (I am not sure if all Sephoras throughout Canada have these new sections). I got a sample of Skin Foundation, which I've been meaning to try out for some time now (review of that coming soon). I love Bobbi Brown, her products are so nice, although I heard her corrector/concealer has changed texture recently, became more creamy? The ones I swatched in the store seemed identical to what I've been using.

Nails Inc is another brand that came in recently, I picked up Sloane Square, a really pretty 3D glitter, it's my first Nails Inc polish ever. St. Tropez is now available too, for those that like to fake tan, it was only available online previously.

I am really pleased that Sephoras in Canada have decided to add these brands, I don't really understand why we don't have the same brands that stores in the US have. And perhaps they can start including us in promotions too (like the Friends and Family online offer that is US only currently, would of loved to take advantage of that!) I would love to see them get a Chanel or Illamasqua section. What section would you want most to see at Sephoras in Canada?

  1. I thought they've always had Bobbi Brown and YSL at Sephora. At least they did with my local one ;) The Sephora on Bloor is so amazing with their samples!

I've never heard of nails inc, it sounds just as posh as the rest! Glad you're back to blogging!

  2. @Steph - Nah I frequent Sephora a lot and this is new, I even got an email telling me of these new brands. Haven't ever been to the bloor one, I go to Eaton Centre and Sherway mostly.

  3. Nails Inc. and St. Tropez arrived a while back and the Bloor St. one now has YSL but not Bobbi Brown. I'm assuming they'll get that in soon. Oh, and they also carry REN products now too!

I have no problem going to Holt Renfrew but I don't like the way the SAs loom over and pressure with their mere presence. I like to play with all the products myself so this great news to me!

  4. @Liz - counters in general can turn me right off, like my recent experience with Chanel at The Bay, terrible customer service. I prefer buying items that I can get elsewhere at Sephora instead because there is no pressure to buy, and no issues if you want to return, which is the way it should be right?

  5. Cool!! I hope mine has these new brands. I wish to heck we'd get Illamsaqua here. The Sephoras in Paris carry Chanel too-that would be sweet, right?

  6. What happened at The Bay? Was it Queen St? There's one SA there who is fabulous. Tall, dark bob with blunt bangs. She let me swatch my heart out.

  7. @Liz - Nah it was girl that apparently was from fragrance instead and told me that they don't give samples, so I walked away disappointed.

  8. I was surprised to see the new additions too @ the eaton center location... Got my BB foundation stick. Origins & Ren skincare is new to that location.
