Nude Lipstick Comparisons Review

nude lipstick comparison
This was a request from one of my readers to do a nude lipstick comparison review, a n n i e, thanks for the suggestion!

Who doesn't love a nude lip? It is pretty much a basic makeup item in any girl's makeup bag. I have severel nude lipsticks, if there is a new one out, I usually pick it up. Actually, my first MAC purchase ever was the MAC Creme d'nude lipstick and it's still a favourite of mine from all the nudes I have. It smells amazing, is lovely to apply and the colour is fabulous. Nude is great for an everyday look, and to blank out your lips (if they are too pigmented normally). Judging from the picture above, they all look kind of the same, but there are variations I promise, and I will show you swatches below..

mac creme d'nude
MAC's Creme d'nude is a pale, beige nude.

revlon soft nude
Revlon Soft Nude is a pink peachy nude

gosh darling
GOSH Darling is a concealer white nude
revlon nude attitude
Revlon Nude Attitude is an orangey based nude.
rimmel nude delight
Rimmel Nude Delight - brown undertoned nude.

What's your fave nude lipstick?? Please post a comment below. ;)

  3. @11th - I did have trouble haha, they are very similar and it doesn't help that my camera is asscrap and doesn't capture the colour right. That's why I included the arm swatch too... gotta work with what I got ;)

  4. Great review dear. =)I love nude lippies! I've been wanting to try GOSH lipsticks so badly but we don't have them here in the US. Would you say they're lipsticks are good? Are they moisturizing? Pigmented?

  5. @kali - I've only tried the one so far, it's pigmented, moisturizing though... I would say no. But it's nice and solid, doesn't melt like colorburst ;)

  6. The Revlon Soft Nude looks really nice. I like MAC Peachstock, Mary kay lip nectar in coconut, I know I have more choices just can't think of them right now.

  7. Beautiful lips you have! I have a really weird definitely of nude lipsticks. When I think of nude, I go straight for a light sheer pink lipstick that's MLBB. My go to is Chanel Naive.

  9. @ karla - I wish my lips were pale! they are pink normally, so I want to blank them out. Love your reds on your blog btw! ;)

  10. Justine, trust me! You don't wanna have pale lips. It is so hard to find a nice shade to make them seem natural haha. We should switch! =p
