Refined Golden Bronzer - I use Golden, which also came out as a re-promote in this collection, pretty much everyday. It's really good for fair skinned girls, but I find it doesn't really show up despite how much you put on. I wanted something darker, so I opted for refined golden. I knew it was coming out with the uber cute packaging in this collection, so I waited and got it. It's a tad darker and shimmery.
Hipness Blush - this is lovely, comes in the puke green packaging, with the cute starfish on the front. It's a pinky peach, no shimmer, just matte.
Lazy Day - is a baby pink lipstick, more beige than Lady gaga lipstick, which I have seen others compare it to, this is not stark like that.
I love the packaging of this collection and can't wait until Part 2 arrives, hopefully tomorrow. If you guys want any swatches or comparisons, please let me know. ;)

ReplyDeletenot sure if you read my comment, but i called them this morning at 10:30 and asked to put Marine Life powder, lazy day lipsticks, splashing lipglass and hipness blush on hold ! ! ! unfortunately, I wasnt able to get the car to drive there this morning so i had to call instead. hopefully none of the SA's take mine and give it to someone else !!! im surprised yours came SO fast. just like how i ordered shoes yesterday after midnight and got it today ! :)
i really want the refined golden bronzer too but ahhhh!!! i just dont feel like spending more on this collection. i think im just going to find something similar to it at the mac sale for less.

ReplyDeleteYou could probably get refined bronzer at the warehouse sale, but in the regular packaging since it's a permanent product. I liked it for that packaging and do not have access to the warehouse sale. I totally ordered ML after hearing everyone drooling over it, and it sold out in 2 hours on the us site, that made me want to get it. ;)
i just went to pick up my stuff !!! picked up ML ! the SA said they sold out by 3PM. have you tried them yet (except ML)?

ReplyDeletei pre-ordered marine life and lazy day from nordstrom but if they still have refined and hipness when i go to pick my order up, i might just get them too! I haven't even gotten marine life yet and i am already scared to use it because it is too pretty.. lol

ReplyDeletei got hipness blush too :) but i didnt get any bronzers because they didnt seem too remarkable to me. i skipped out on the marine life too because it seemed too shimmery. glad you got something that a lot of people have been trying to get their hands on though <3
ReplyDelete@ kellyyes - I don't have marine life yet, and I am starting to think that I won't because my package wasn't delivered today from mac and my status online shows as "changed" and there are no changes. Normally I get emailed if something is out of stock, it happened with mac's peppermint patti nail polish too, but this time no email. :( If I don't get it, it's okay, but I will definitely be disappointed.
